Like any red-blooded American boy, I've had a passion for cars as far back as I can remember. I grew up around cars. My grandfather - he's 92 now - collected Ford Edsels and Ford retractable hardtops. He also had a 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190. So it was in my genes to be interested in cars.

I went to all sorts of car shows as a young man and took a particular interest in German cars. I really wanted my first car to be a Porsche. My dad has probably three or four Porsches himself today.

I decided that the best place for me to begin my career would be selling Porsches at D-Patrick. I mean, that was like the Holy Grail to me. I came and applied for a job at D-Patrick, and they hired me.

Bill Dahmer has been with D-Patrick for over 40 years and holds many Porsche certifications from 1974 to present.  He enjoys IMSA and SCCA Porsche racing and is heavily involved in the Evansville community.  He serves as a Precinct Commiteeman (for 16 years), Board of Directors for Evansville Youth Baseball, President East Youth Baseball and a member of the HotStove League.  You may hear him from time to time with Dan Egersky on All About Sports.  Bill has been happily married to Shari Dahmer for 44 years and enjoys spending time with their 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.

Rick has been with D-Patrick for over 15 years and has been a Porsche certified service manager since 2007.  He is an avid golfer and supports many youth and local community athletic clubs.

I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia where I grew up. My favorite hobbies include running, traveling, and spending time with my family. I've been in the car business for 22 years, where I started as an Inventory Manager. I moved to Evansville, Indiana, and became a Service Advisor in 2014 with D-Patrick Porsche. My role as a Service Advisor is to facilitate all the aspects of service when a customer brings their vehicle in from start to finish. I enjoy interacting with customers on all different levels and taking care of their automotive needs trying to make each customer feel like a guest in my home. I believe that customers choose D-Patrick because we offer a personal and knowledgeable, smooth experience when they come to us. 

I have always had a passion for cars since I started holding a flashlight for my Dad while he worked on his car and I still carry that with me today. My time in the automotive industry and over 10 years of customer service experience drives me to meet the expectations of the Porsche brand for all my customers. When I am not at the dealership, I am either practicing and playing bass guitar for my church or spending time with my family and friends.

Steve Davis is Porsche CPT Gold Certified and has been with D-Patrick for 14 years.  He is a diagnostic and classic vehicle specialist. Steve enjoys spending time with German engineered vehicles and holds many certifications and awards from the manufacturers.
